Excellent bartender and atmosphere

We stayed in Kanazawa for just under a week and despite venturing far and wide, always seemed to find ourselves back at Kaname Bar. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere, great music (we even saw a live performance one night) and very friendly English speaking bartender Ed made this our favourite place. With amazing food and a great drinks list, I would highly reccomend you stop by here!

I'm addicted to the original POBOY sand. It is the strongest sand in circumstances. Not to mention the main shrimp fries, but the original yeast hard bread is the best. The three original sauces are suitable for soda and beer. There are other rare alcohols as well. ~ 🎵

Went during happy hour (6-8pm). Chill little bar with decent drinks and service. Music was a bit loud for only having a handful of people in it. Would be a good place to chill and talk if you could hear each other. Has a few snacks. Salsa was freshly made which was a plus.

We stopped in here for a drink befor heading to dinner and ended up staying the whole night! Edo San made us feel extremely welcome. The drinks were really well priced and he makes a great espresso martini. I definitely recommend you stop in and say hello

Remembering the time I was assigned overseas, I wanted to drink a lot and when I entered it was a pretty stylish space. When I was given the opportunity to speak in English, the guests sitting next door and the master of the bar talked to each other as acquaintances, so it was difficult to talk to them, and the content was about the bad news and harassment reviews of other stores. I felt like I couldn't get in for a while, so I would like to re-drink at another store.It may be a good person and a master who can confide in various ways, but if I get along with the bad talk of other stores so much, other customers who have heard it will draw. I would like to leave for a while and go again

This is a cute, multicultural bar with good drinks. It's a little pricy, but that's to be expected considering the neighborhood it is in. I had a fun time here, and would come back again.

We had a great time at this bar, ended up spending the entire night there. The host Edo San is really accommodating and makes some great cocktails. I would highly recommend you stop by!

Great foreigner friendly bar with comfort foods! Non smoking, which is always hard to come by. Small joint and friendly mostly English speaking staff.

If you want to have a relaxed time and drink some good drink this is the spot. Well known with many of the Expats in Kanazawa. Stop in for a drink and have a chat with the bartender, or one of the locals that come in to practice a little bit of their English. Lots of fun events as well.

This bar is full of very friendly and helpful staff, most of them speak both Japanese and English. The food is also very good, one of the only places here in Japan that I can find hot wings! The drinks are also great, and each month they seem to ahve a new signiture drink.

Incredibly friendly bilingual bartender who conversed comfortably with Japanese and English speaking customers (and was so lovely and inclusive). Cozy, homely feel with a good selection of well priced cocktails. We spent half the night chatting to another customer (with help from the bartender and Google translate). Fantastic bar, would highly recommend!
